Work Completed:
Added simple inventory to code (not to game play).
Added keys
Added locked doors that require keys
Added side ways facing T'hal caves.
Added sound on death
I need a way to direct the player's progress without making it feel like the game was completely a straight line. My solution to this was to create keys for the player to get and doors that require keys to open. I like the idea of giving the player a choice in pathing. For example giving the player a direct route, safer or allow the player to go the long way but give them access to some food.
I also created side ways facing T'hal caves simply because the map required it.
I'm kinda most excited about setting up a way to play sound on death. This means that I can add some sound effects to the death of the T'hals and T'hal cave destruction! This should make the game much more engaging. Hopefully I can find a good death sound effect!
